Sod Cut for GH₵32 Million Aiyinasi 24-Hour Market — Flagship Policy Moves to Implementation

The government has cut the sod for the construction of an ultra-modern 24-hour market complex in Aiyinasi, located in the Western Region, valued at GH₵32 million. The project is designed to pilot the "24-Hour Economy" strategy, creating continuous shifts in local commerce and agriculture logistics.
Cutting sod is easy; executing a continuous 24-hour retail and logistics ecosystem is a complex infrastructural challenge. A 24-hour market requires reliable round-the-clock electricity (solving local grid issues), guaranteed security from the police, and public transit systems for traders working late shifts. If the government does not solve the energy and municipal transit logistics first, this market will simply become a standard daytime market with expensive streetlights.
